Amazing burger spot!! We were immediately greeted by the server Aaron, who was super friendly & was patient while we decided what to get. We got our food quickly and there was plenty of seating. My friends and I got the bonehead burger. It was hot, flavorful & honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was a smashed patty & came with cheese, their house sauce, bacon, crispy onions, scallions, lettuce, onion, pickles & tomato!! So so good, we also shared the fries. The seasoning was amazing. Would DEFINITELY come back here!
We just had our first bonehead burger at the new Imperial Beach location and it was great. It's everything you want in a burger. Flavorful, juicey, and beefy. The fries were exceptional. I can't wait to go back!
9.14.24 Their food truck was at a street concert in little Italy. We had the Dirty Angel fried & Bonehead Tots. Incredible!! Best I've ever had. Flavorful and plentiful. Someone had the hamburger and it looked amazing.
Once you discover the gloriousness that is Bonehead Burger Co. you will have no other choice than to become a Bonehead yourself. Unparreled, friendly service with Pop-up options all over town including a food truck. Word on the street is Bonehead is coming to not 1 but 2 brick and mortars in town. Mouthwatering delicousness, quality execution, and bada$$ staff will make Bonehead Burger your go-to burger stop.
This place is pretty good! The ordering process is easy and since it's at a food hub there are also other options on-site. There are picnic tables outside where you can eat. The Kenny B burger was perfect for me size-wise. The meat was flavorful and had the crispy edges that make a good smash burger. They have options for all appetites, there is even a burger on the menu with 6 patties. You have the option to customize burgers by adding a patty, maple bacon, or switching to a veggie patty. They have various loaded versions of fries and tots and fries for side-options.
Bonehead was in a good hub where you go into a small space (zero parking) and order from different menus different restaurants on a screen. They make it and put the food in a locker to take. Mostly for food pickup but you can sit in the small park bench areas outside. Not the best location..... not much parking if at all. There's tons of cars picking up food to go. But overall the food was delicious!
I've had their Kenny B burger on two occasions, one being a late night Uber Eats order and when I went recently at the Barrio Food Hub. Highly suggest that you order from your food delivery app because the location was quite busy making other people's delivery orders, and will prioritize those first. You arrive and place your order on the touch screen, then will get a text to confirm your order and for pick up. You then use the given code to pick up your food from the locker. Besides the logistics, Bonehead Burger might be the best smash burger and is one of the best options to order from the Barrio Logan Food Hub. Compared to other smash burger joints I've had in SD, Bonehead Burger ranks pretty far on my list. I do feel like it needs extra toppings on it though as well which makes me give a 4 star rating.
Located in the Barrio Food Hub, Bonehead Burger is one of the many eateries selling food here. They have online ordering for pickup via their website but we didn't know that so I placed my order at one of the two kiosks. I'd recommend online ordering because the people ahead of me in the kiosk line had no idea what they wanted and took an eternity at the kiosks. I got texted when my food was ready and available for pickup in their lockers. -Bonehead fries 5/5 ($9): I have not seen loaded fries priced this low in San Diego, ever. And it was a generous portion size as well as delicious to boot? Don't skip this, make sure to add it to your burder order. The fries were crisp and covered with bonehead sauce, cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, maple-bourbon bacon, scallions -Bonehead Burger 5/5 ($11.49): Deliciously seared smash burger with crispy onions and bacon. The flavor was off the charts -Little Schulte 3/5 ($12): I wouldn't order this again because the Bonehead Burger was 10x better. The Little Schulte was just a boring cheeseburger with raw onions, and the extra bun in the middle diluted the flavor even further. It is a perfectly good burger when compared to other burger places BUT you must try the bonehead burger if you are here We sat at the outdoor tables to eat. We came at 11AM on a weekend so there was both plentiful street parking and tables.
